The Colonial Health Service, following on the Marine Health Service, organizes, from the beginning, scientific communication through "learned societies" and periodical reviews. All the relevant texts are to be found at the Pharo. The journal of the Health Service is later entitled "Médicine Tropicale" and is still published today.
At Fréjus, the Museum of Colonial Troops preserves the reputation of this colonial corps, in particular that of its Health Service.
